Introduction

Farmworker Legal Services of New York, Inc., (FLSNY) produced this pamphlet to assist farm workers in obtaining a Social Security Card, New York State Driver License, United States Passport and a New York State Birth Certificate.

 

                 FLSNY has assisted many farm workers in obtaining the documents listed above. It has been our experience that, in most cases, a self-help guide would have allowed the farm workers we have helped to be able to obtain these documents themselves.
